Eilla’s senior pictures featured 2 new locations for me! It’s always so exciting to try out a new spot, but in Austin it also takes a lot of prep work. I always go scout out locations ahead of time and determine what the parking/traffic situation will be like during your session. Everything worked out perfectly for these spots and I’m so happy to have a few new locations to advertise to my clients! The first new spot is this rooftop near Frost Bank. I visited probably 10 different parking garages to find the perfect one!! You have to be careful because some garages don’t allow photography, others don’t have open tops, and others just don’t have a nice view. This one was amazing though – especially right at sunset!

The second spot is the LBJ Boardwalk. This is a popular spot for walking or running but it’s also great for photos! A little bit of patience is involved especially if it’s a nice day and lots of people are out walking, but we managed to get plenty of photos without people in the background 🙂 And those skyline views are pretty epic!
