Now that I’ve done quite a few senior session at UT Austin, I thought it would be a great time to share some of my favorite locations on campus! If you are graduating soon, this is a great post to reference when the time comes to think about your photo locations. UT has so many beautiful spots for pictures that it’s hard to narrow it down! Luckily, a lot of these locations are in the same area and easy to walk to. Usually we can get 3-4 locations all in one session!
I included some of my favorite UT Austin senior session locations in this post. There are so many spots around Austin in general as well if you’d like to get off campus for some of the photos! You can check out this post for off campus photo locations in Austin.
LittleField Fountain
Littlefield fountain is a beautiful spot for senior pictures! The fountain and flowers surrounding it are beautiful, and you get a view of the Tower if you take pictures straight down the middle. I love the variety that this one spot has to offer!
Tower
The is the most iconic spot for UT pictures of course – the Tower! You can take photos from many different angles but the best is straight down the middle in front of the Tower. If you want to avoid crowds/people in your pictures, I recommend booking your senior session early in the season (first few months of the semester) OR scheduling a morning session!
Tower Area
Surrounding the Tower there are a ton of beautiful trees, stairs, flowers, and so much more! These locations are beautiful to add something different to your graduation photos. I love all of the glowy light and greenery my seniors get for their photos here!
Blue Door
There is a blue door near the Tower that is highly requested by my seniors! This doorway is beautiful and has some amazing architecture. No one knows how it became such a popular spot for senior pictures but it is SO pretty so I’m glad it is. Lines do start to form here if you wait to take pictures until later in the semester so book early to get your time in front of this beautiful UT senior spot!
Greenhouse
The Greenhouse is just a bit past the tower area. I’m not sure if this is still regularly used or if it’s just for decoration but it is another unique spot on campus for photos!
Gearing Hall Gate
For another view of the UT Tower, check out the Gearing Hall gate. This location is on the opposite side of the earlier Tower pictures. Gearing Hall has a beautiful gate to frame the Tower photos.
Moody Bridge
If you are a liberal arts student, you may be familiar with this location! The Moody bridge is a pretty recent addition to UT’s campus, and it’s a great spot for more modern looking photos. This bridge connects the two liberal arts buildings and would be a fun way to capture some photos at your college!
Stadium Seal
The UT stadium is a great place to end your session especially if you love football! I know football was a huge part of many of my senior’s experiences at UT and it is so fun for them to take photos here. The seal is so cool and definitely captures the UT football spirit!
So there you have it! My favorite UT Austin locations for senior pictures. Do you have any other locations on campus that you love? Let me know!
