A few days before this session, Mary told me she booked Signor Vineyards for one of our locations. I immediately started looking through blogs and was so in love with the scenery! However, I wasn’t able to find any sessions from the fall. I was worried that it might not live up to what I had seen online, but when we showed up I was so impressed! There was so much greenery even in the fall. They had also added holiday touches with trees and wreaths throughout the property! And the light at sunset… so glowy and beautiful! I loved capturing Jacob and Mary’s engagement photos at Signor Vineyards and I think you can definitely see their fun personalities in these photos.
Fredericksburg is an important place for these two! Mary knew when she inquired that this was where they wanted to have the engagement photos done. They have some family in the area and have spent time together in the town. Since they are both Catholic and their faith is very important to them, they decided to also include the Fredericksburg Catholic Church as one of their locations. The stone church made a lovely backdrop for their more formal pictures. It was a beautiful location and also held a special meaning for them! I love it when couples get creative with their location choices.
If you’re thinking about including a unique location for your engagement photos – consider Signor Vineyards and the cute downtown of Fredericksburg! It would make a great spot for a weekend getaway after your portraits as well!
