Today I’m so excited to be sharing favorites from Austin and Sarah’s wedding! Austin is a friend of ours from a bible study and when he and Sarah asked us to photograph their wedding we were so excited! It was such a beautiful day to be part of and we loved helping them celebrate. Austin and Sarah got married at Venue 311 in Houston on Mothers day! They incorporated special touches to honor their mothers and I know both moms were so proud of their kids. These two are so in love and it’s obvious that they are meant to be together!
Thank you to these amazing vendors who helped pull off the beautiful day!

I love that Sarah wore these Kate Spade keds! It makes the reception so much easier when you can dance your heart out in comfy shoes!
Seth and I had 12th man towels just like these at our wedding! I love that Austin incorporated this Aggie tradition into his and Sarah’s wedding exit!
I love when mom has a special moment with her daughter buttoning up her dress! Sarah’s mom patiently buttoned all of the beautiful buttons on her dress. Sarah said that it was a must for her that her wedding dress have buttons down the back!
Austin and all of his groomsmen rocked superhero socks and cufflinks for the big day!
If there’s time, I love taking a few wedding day bridal portraits before the ceremony! I love these bridals of Sarah!
And you can’t forget the groom! We also took some solo portraits of Austin right before the ceremony 🙂
Austin walked in his mother and had roses for her and Sarah’s mom to honor them because their wedding day was also mothers day!
The maid of honor and best man make their way down the aisle! How perfect are the bridesmaid’s tulle skirts that Sarah picked out?!?
One of my favorite shots to capture during the ceremony – the groom’s reaction when he sees his bride! Austin’s reaction when Sarah and her father made their way down the aisle was priceless. You can see in his eyes just how much he loves his bride!
I love this photo of Sarah and her dad! It is so sweet to see him smiling at her in this last moment before she becomes a wife!
Catching moments like these of the parents is the best! Austin’s mom wipes away a tear as her son says his vows.
Austin and Sarah took a few minutes at the end of the ceremony to tie a cord of 3 strands on this cross. The three strands symbolize Austin, Sarah, and God and how together they will form a strong and unbreakable marriage!
And it’s official! They’re married!!
Gig’ em!
The groomsmen requested a photo showing off their superhero socks! Loved it!
One of my favorites! I love a classic black and white photo!
I loved these just married portraits BUT there are even more portraits coming towards the end of this post! Austin and Sarah let us steal them away from the reception for some sunset portraits as well 🙂
And now for the sunset portraits!!
They did a 12th man towel and bubbles exit!
I love this getaway car! So cute!
