I am so excited to share Sarah and Corey’s Houston, Texas wedding with y’all! This sweet couple said their I do’s at the Wynden in Houston surrounded by family and friends from all over the US! This was a destination wedding for their families since they are not originally from Texas and it was so fun to see them celebrate with their families from out of town. We started the day by photographing the beautiful details Sarah put together! Everything was so stunning and had such sweet meaning behind it. My favorite thing was a gold ring that was given to her by parents on the day of the wedding!
Sarah got ready with her bridesmaids and they were all so excited to see her in her dress for the first time! They helped her with her jewelry and shoes and then watched from the windows as Corey and Sarah shared a private first look outside! First looks are my favorite because it gives the couple a moment to themselves. Sarah and Corey took this time to share letters they had written to each other. They took their time and enjoyed this special private moment! Then, when they were ready, we moved into bride and groom portraits. When Sarah and I worked on her timeline, we included plenty of time for portraits which was so important since her wedding day was forecasted to be raining. We ended up being so lucky and having clear skies all day! This meant that we got to spend extra time on their portraits and I am so happy to be able to give them such a variety to choose from.
The ceremony was outside at the Wynden’s gazebo with a beautiful floral arrangement! Their family and friends watched as Sarah and Corey said their vows and exchanged rings. Then everyone celebrated as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife! After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and we took a few just married portraits and then we celebrated the new couple at their reception! Sarah and Corey were so excited for the food and cake at the reception and had been hyping it up to me since their engagement session and it definitely did not disappoint! They danced the night away and we were so impressed at how they didn’t even seem tired after hours of dancing with their family and friends! Sarah and Corey are clearly meant to be together and I am so excited for them to experience a new life as husband and wife!!
